Brampton Cottage .  

The B&B has two double bed rooms (one ensuite ), one twin bedroom and  a single bedroom each with their own bason.The twin room is particularly spacious  and  can be  used as a family room with up to two extra beds . Each of the bedrooms (apart from the en-suite) has  use of the two  bathrooms with bath,shower and loo. The  bedrooms have T.V. and coffee/ tea making facilities.

Breakfast is served in the dinning room with a view of  and access to the garden.  Afternoon tea, packed lunches and evening meals can be provided. There is plenty of parking space and a secure garage for  bicycles.We have our own free range Chickens so guests can enjoy  fresh ,home produced eggs  for breakfast ! 

Location- Brampton Cottage  is 1 1/4 miles from the end of the M50 and 1 miles from the delightful market town of Ross-on-Wye,. Hereford,  and Gloucester are reached within half an hour,Monmouth is twenty minutes away with the Brecon Beacons National Park (in Wales ) under an hour away.

The Cottage is situated in beautiful Herefordshire countryside perfect for exploring  The River Wye, Symmonds Yat, The Malvern Hills and the Golden Valley to Hay-on-Wye.

 Back Ground  Brampton Cottage is the oldest Cottage in the small village of Brampton Abbotts, being approximately 200 years old . Originally built as the village Blacksmiths and and converted by the present owner's Grandparents in the 1930s.

The Lane leading  to the Cottage has no through traffic and  as a result   is very peaceful . Infact ,the quiet of the early morning is only broken by the sound of the dawn chorus! The Cottage has two acres of  informal garden and an  orchard  full of wild life and large variety of song birds,game birds, badgers, squirrels , and hedgehogs . Beside the Cottage is a large cider orchard which  is very tranquil & a haven for wildlife which is  criss crossed with  footpaths.  The Cottage is also approx  1/2 a   mile on a footpath down to the beautiful  River Wye,which can be followed all the way to Ross and beyond.

Brampton Cottage is Home for Patrick & Caroline  and their two dogs ,a black labrador , a boarder terrier plus two cats  . Our fondness  of animals  means we provide pet friendly accommodation!
